As I look across my yard into my neighbour's balcony and into their living room, I see them watching the tv. It's 10pm. It just dawned upon me that watching tv is now a luxury that I no longer have. Here I am preparing my baby's feed after a short power nap and hopefully be able to put her to sleep for the night or at least for 5 hours. How am I able to write this blog then?
Well, my baby was suppose to have her feed now but she too decided to have a longer nap. So it's becoming a pattern now for me to sneak in some of my own work while waiting for her to awaken to have her feed. I now realized that just a few months ago, I was actually having the time of my life without realizing it. Sleeping soundly every night for at least 7 hours, eating whenever I want, sleeping whenever I feel like it, etc. But before I start sounding like a disgruntled mum, I am actually very very thankful to have such a wonderful daughter. Despite all this, whenever I see her smile, nothing else matters.
So yes, watching TV IS a luxury, but nothing beats watching my little angel.
